About Norda Travel

Norda Travel is a travel operations service built around one conviction: the best trips are uneventful — and uneventful takes work. So we watch. From the moment a ticket is issued until wheels are down, our engine tracks the aircraft flying your leg, both airports, the weather at each end, and the roads that get you there.

What we run

Booking, so a trip starts watched. Watch — the Norda Watcher engine — free for any flight, worldwide. Ground and Gateside, so the journey around the flight gets the same care as the flight itself.

What you can count on

What we sell is simple: a trip that is actually being watched. Early notice instead of a surprise at the gate, and a plan B identified before you need it.

Just as important, what we will not claim: we are not an insurer, we do not promise the cheapest ticket, and we will never call anything certain that is not. When we do not know, we say so.

Where the data comes from

Weather signals come from NOAA’s aviation forecasts (TAFs), the same forecasts pilots and dispatchers brief with. US airport ground stops and closures come straight from the FAA’s live airspace status feed — with European network status from EUROCONTROL in progress. Road conditions come from Google Maps live traffic. Flight, aircraft and airport data come from licensed professional aviation data feeds tracking aircraft movements worldwide. When a source is unavailable, we mark the watch as unknown — we never report an all-clear we cannot stand behind.
